On 19 July 2024, BC4EU co-signed together with other associations a joint-industry letter requesting the European Commission to consider the distinctions between different transfers of EMTs and provide clarity and time for entities to comply with PSD2 requirements for those transfers that classify as payment services, emphasizing the need for a pragmatic regulatory approach to avoid disruption in services.
