Blockchain for Europe submitted this letter as a constructive contribution to ESMA’s ongoing consideration of crypto perpetuals in a retail investor-protection context. The letter then also suggests to organise a meeting between BC4EU members and the ESMA staff to further contribute to the ongoing discussions on how to achieve a proportionate approach that addresses retail concerns while preserving the conditions for supervised onshore activity.
