Before the end of the first year of application of the MiCA rules, which entered into force in January 2025, the members of Blockchain for Europe have taken stock of the new framework, highlighting what is working well and what instead should be changed in the next iteration.

This Report is meant to share BC4EU's views on the MiCA rules ahead of the planned review by the European Commission, hoping that this input will be taken in consideration to ensure a future regulatory framework that achieves all of its stated objectives.
